It's still October

Hello there, 

I'm a little late with my post for the "Goldenrod" card for October.

Our Rainbow Card Challenge for this month has been "Goldenrod" and I got my DT card into the challenge in time, but I didn't get my post done. 

Aren't those colors beautiful???

So many variations. Feels like Fall.

Here is my card: 

I had a hard time getting the yellows to show up well. 

What was in my head and what came out in the photo was not the same.

So, I had to leave it at that and use a different technique next time.

I used watercolor pencils for this and I think they are not a strong enough medium to really get that yellow to shade well.

We live and learn, right????
